AFRICAN OASIS

Born from a magazine image that stopped Neera mid-page — a herd of elephants in the vast African landscape — African Oasis is an original hand-painted batik artwork on cotton fabric. Executed in just two colors, deep earthy brown and luminous yellow, the restrained palette makes the elephant figures emerge with striking clarity and power. Painted during years spent living in Zambia, Africa, and set permanently through a traditional hot-water batik process. Sized at 22” × 44” and framed in a black wooden floater frame — a commanding statement piece for any large wall.
